Marielle attends 99s Int'l Conference in San Diego July 8-12 2026

Marielle had a super time in San Diego at the 99s International Conference, the main attraction being SO MUCH FELLOWSHIP of female pilots - over 200! Held at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, there was a packed itinerary including speakers, panel discussions, career mentorship events, and the annual awards banquet.

Marielle saw the keynote motivational speaker, aviator Jessica Cox, and got her book signed along with many attendees. Jessica has no arms and is a truly amazing inspiration.

Some aviators visited the Naval Airbase, saw the warbirds up close and got to fly an Osprey in their SIM.

Marielle also snuck in a cruise around San Diego Bay followed by an evening walk along the shoreline (including past THAT iconic statue). Here are some great photos!
